"Past...Present...Future"

January 21, 2019
Come stop by the gallery for a quick pic in our photo op area! While you're there be sure to check out the amazing student art on display. We currently have an exhibition featuring work by Studio Art and Painting and Drawing titled, Past...Present...Future. This is a theme Painting and Drawing has been working with extensively as they first drew aged portraits of themselves in the future and wrote letters to themselves. Now the class is working on doing drawings inspired by childhood nostalgia. Only a few are up so far but they are fabulous and I cannot wait to see the rest! Studio Art just finished up drawings of New Year's Traditions from around the world, displayed alongside the Wings created with paper feathers they made back in December. Also featured in this exhibition is work by one of the JHS Art student artist's of the month, Maddie G. Sit and play a game on her handmade ceramic checkers set! Be sure to tag your wing pictures #JHSgivesuswingstofly or email them to me at [email protected] so I can add them to our collection. Thanks for adding to our JHS school spirit and good luck to those of you with mid-terms and regents exams this week!
We can't wait to see where your own wings take you from here too!
